Allen is dedicated to building and delivering customer driven, organizationally focused business solutions in the areas of executive coaching, human resource management and organizational development.

Allen has more than twenty-five years experience as an executive, educator, coach and consultant, working within small, medium and large for profit, not-for-profit and public organizations. He has gained invaluable experience as a senior HR and Organizational Development executive having worked in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia.

He has extensive experience and success in:
– Designing, developing and implementing Human Resource programs, systems, processes, organization-wide competency models, employee engagement programs, 360 feedback and in-house assessment centers
– Conducting Human Resource Department performance audits
– Coaching and mentoring executives in a number of industries
– Change management and business process re-engineering
– Developing organizational performance scorecards
– Leadership and management course development and workshop training
– Creating communication strategies in support of organizational change
– Executive recruitment

As Vice President Human Resources, he implemented programs that led to the company he worked for being recognized as a Top 100 Employer for three consecutive years and a Top 50 Employer for two consecutive years. The company was also one of only 70 recipients of a Work-Life Balance and Diversity Management award.

In his consulting engagements, Allen consulted with companies in retail, manufacturing, health care, engineering, telecommunications, family owned and professional service industries in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Allen holds a B.A. in Applied Social Science, an M.A. in Human Systems Intervention and has completed MBA courses in marketing, finance, statistics, accounting, economics and organizational behavior.

He has been quoted in newspapers across Canada, presented at conferences in Canada and the US and written articles for an industry journal. He taught a graduate level course, Leading Change, at McGill University.
